My Top Tiara Tips...

Tip one: Every Bride is UNIQUE

You have your own personal style, and this should be reflected in your choice of accessories. You do not have to have a tiara, or a veil to look gorgeous, but if you do decide to have a headdress, I can offer quite a large selection of different styles, sizes, colours etc. so you can simply dazzle on your special day.

Tip two: Try it on...

I really cannot stress this enough. From past experience many Brides have told me that they didn't want a tiara at all, until they actually tried on one of my creations and became smitten!

So, try on lots of different styles of headdress - this is the fun part! Let me be of help to you and assist you in choosing your perfect wedding tiara.

You may have already seen me at a wedding fair, and indeed already had an initial try on, but in case you haven't I'm am very happy for you to make an appointment to come and see me personally at my own home/studio. You are invited to bring a friend/s and try on as many designs as you would like. You can contact me here...

Tip Three: You'll know it when you see it...

So you know you want a tiara, but don't know what type? Yes it is a minefield out there! There really are so many wedding accessories to choose from these days - why not visit my tiara gallery here, to see my latest collection of designs with full pricing for each piece underneath the image.

That should get you thinking!

I believe that you do not choose your tiara, but your tiara chooses you! You could try on a design just for fun, not really thinking it will suit you, but once on your head, it can sometimes become a 'Cinderella and the glass slipper moment' and you know it is the 'Perfect fit' so to speak.

Tip Four: I have a Dream...

So you have this idea in mind for the perfect tiara, but you haven't seen anything like it anywhere. You've scoured the Bridal magazines for inspiration, or to find something even just a bit similar you your idea, but still have had no luck. Well look no further: It's your special day and you can have exactly what you're dreaming of.

Yes! It's possible, with my bespoke design service.

Tell me your ideas and let me turn them into a sparkling reality just for you!

Tip Five: Comfort is key!

You will be wearing your headdress for many hours, so comfort and security are two major things to consider in your selection process. I have tiaras in my collection that are very light weight, almost so light you forget you're wearing them, and others that are more substantial. You will need to think about how you are going to have your hair styled on the day, to find the right tiara for you.

Hairdressers will secure your chosen design into your hair with lots of grips to prevent it moving or slipping when you dance the night away, so it is a great idea if possible to have purchased your headdress before your hair trial, so your hairdresser can fix it in for you, then you can be sure you will be totally happy with your look when your wedding day comes.

Wow, that's a lot of information and certainly a lot to think about!

Sarah's Top Tips to looking great on your Wedding day!

You've found your man... Set a date... Got your wedding gown... What next?!

There are so many things to consider when planning a wedding, take it from me - I got married 12 years ago and I can still remember all the little details that had to be organised to make the day absolutely perfect.

But often after the big things are arranged (such as venue, dresses, transportation, photographer and cake for example), you can have a really relaxing time choosing your accessories. And, if you have a theme to your big day, as some brides do, then it can be really fun trying to incorporate the theme throughout your wedding, including your jewellery & headdress.

So here we go - just a few little things to remember...
